How To Make A Yellow Forsythia Door Basket Wreath:
Step 1: Prepare Your Materials Gather all your materials and lay them out on a clean, flat surface. Take a moment to inspect your silk flowers and greenery, trimming any excess stems or leaves as needed. This will ensure that your wreath has a polished, professional finish.
Step 2: Add the Yellow Forsythia Flowers Next, it’s time to add the star of the show – the yellow forsythia flowers! Using your wire cutters, trim the stems to your desired length and carefully insert them into the stryofoam in the basket. Make 3 rows of forsythia stems then fill up areas where there is no forsythia. Be sure to distribute the flowers evenly around the basket to create a balanced arrangement.
Step 3: Arrange the Greenery Arrange your greenery around the bottom of the basket, positioning the stems to create a full, natural-looking backdrop for your flowers. Don’t be afraid to mix and match different types of greenery to add texture and dimension to your door wreath if you’d like.
Step 4: Add the Finishing Touches For an extra touch of elegance, consider adding a ribbon bow or embellishment to your wreath. Simply tie the ribbon into a 3 loop bow with ribbon streamers and attach it to top of the basket using a wooden floral pick and hot glue. This will add a pop of color and visual interest to your wreath, making it truly stand out.
